Twitter has launched TweetDeck teams, thisis seen as an easier way to share access to your Twitter account with your teammates in the TweetDeck teams without having to share passwords.

TweedDeck Teams allows users to grant access to more people and remove accounts when they no longer need access.

With admin and contributor roles, multiple users can now post and manage one account with their Twitter
credentials. The admin invites and manages contributors who can post and schedule tweets on one

Corporate and media Twitter accounts usually have multiple users posting on the same account but this has in the past resulted in compromised Twitter accounts.

“Contributors are those people who can Tweet from and act as the account (plus build lists, follow or unfollow accounts, send Tweets and schedule Tweets).

Contributors cannot view, add or remove team members, and cannot access the account outside of TweetDeck,” says Twitter on their blog.

The feature, which is available on TweetDeck for web, Chrome and Windows, also introduces a two-step
authentication process for extra safety.
