In the last few weeks, LG made it clear that it’s going to announce its next flagship smartphone, the G4, on April 28, while also revealing some of the handset’s features.
Thus, we already know that, just like the G3, the LG G4 will feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS display. However, LG mentioned that this is a new IPS panel, one that’s brighter, while offering a wider color range. This is also what LG is telling us in its first G4 official teaser video, which was released a few hours ago.
The teaser video includes the G4 itself, though it’s showing it a way which makes it impossible for us to properly study it. Anyway, from what we’re seeing thus far, these leaked G4 images seem to be spot on.
While the new Quad HD display is an important feature of the G4, the handset will obviously have much more to offer, including a 16 MP “groundbreaking” rear camera, an 8 MP front-facing camera, and Android Lollipop with the new LG UX 4.0 on top. You should read our LG G4 rumor round-up to see what else the handset is expected to offer.
Check out the G4 teaser video below, and, if you want, also take a look at some of the previously leaked renders that allegedly show the upcoming LG flagship phone.
