Samsung Galaxy Win 2 launched in Brazil


The Samsung Galaxy Win was launched almost two years back. The time is now ripe for a successor and Samsung has unveiled it today in Brazil. Samsung Galaxy Win 2 brings a 4.5 inch display, slightly smaller than the 4.7 inch display on its predecessor, with the 800×480 pixel resolution being carried over from the original Galaxy Win.

Samsung Galaxy Win 2 is powered by a 1.2GHz quadcore processor with 1GB RAM. Even though !GB is not that good enough but it’s good to some extend. It boasts of an 8GB internal storage with microSD support,

Samsung Galaxy Win 2 has 5MP rear camera with LED flash. That’s an awesome camera for such a gadget. And no one will hate this rear camera specs. 5MP is the average best smartphone camera for anyone. Selfie Wonders are not left out too, a 2 MP front camera does the thing in front. That’s good for a front camera.

Samsung Galaxy Win 2 comes with a 2000mAh battery. That’s not good for a smartphone. We only hope that the gadget has some power saving techniques to help in boosting that battery’s stand-by time. 2000mAh is not a battery you can enjoy watching YouTube with 3G network enabled for long.

Coming in at 131 x 68.1 x 8.8 mm the Galaxy Win 2 weighs 130g, has dual-SIM functionality and support for 4G LTE. We are leaving the 3G World and advancing to the LTE 4G network and this phone has it already done for you.

The device runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box. Samsung is offering it in black and grey in Brazil with a recommended price of $233 that’s approximately Kshs. 21,500 for the variant without digital TV and $249 (Kes. 23000) for the one with digital TV.
