New leaks claim to show Geekbench benchmark results for the upcoming HTC One M9, which if real gives us a good idea of just how powerful the device, also known as the HTC Hima, will be.
There have been a lot of rumours surrounding the HTC One M9 in the run up to its expected unveiling at MWC 2015, but for the most part they have concentrated on the looks of the device, rather than what’s in the inside. Until now.

The Geekbench benchmark gathers data on the hardware used, and according to the leaked results the HTC One M9 will come with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 running at 1.55 GHz with 3GB of RAM.
At the time of the test the device was running Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, though this could be updated before its release. It’s still good to see it running such a recent version of Google’s latest operating system.
The Geekbench benchmarks also run a series of tests on the various components of the devices it’s installed on and gives us a final score to help compare handsets.
According to the leaked results the HTC One M9 scored a single-core score of 1232 and a multi-core score of 3587. Leaked results of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 show slightly higher scores of 1520 and 5478.

However it looks like it might not quite match the Galaxy S6’s might.
