OnePlus One owners were treated to a nice surprise when OnePlus said that they were offering the Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM for the handset.
In India there has been controversy about the licensing of the Cyanogen ROM and so OnePlus One went ahead and built their own unique version of Android 5.0 Lollipop, which is going to take the place of Cyanogen on the devices.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM is as close to the stock version on the Nexus handsets as possible, with just some small changes. One of these is choosing onscreen buttons.
Bear in mind though that the Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM is in the alpha stages at the moment so there are some issues and bugs with it. They have made the update available on their website along with information on how to install the ROM. So if you want the latest OS on your OnePlus One make your way to the website and check it out.
