Safaricom has always been featuring in the world of telecommunications. However, it is not the first time you hear of a Safaricom phone. You remember the time we had the Kabambe phone. The one that could only allow you to use one specific Sim card? Yes I know everyone knows of the kabambe phone.
That aside Safaricom is introducing a new gadget that it calls the Neon Smartphone. But what is within this neon smartphone? Lets have a look at what is behind this gadget.
Neon smartphone runs on the recent however, not most recent Android 4.4 kitkat operating system. This is so because we have the latest being Android Lollipop (That’s android 5.0).
Display and Design
No one likes a smaller display nowadays. Everyone loves it big. With 5 inch display or even more. There’s nothing to be happy about the display of the neon smartphone. The neon smartphone offers 3.5 inch screen display. I know you would not love this.
Memory & Storage
Storage is key for anyone and for any kind of gadget. You can though supplement your storage. The neon smartphone gives you 4GB internal memory for your gadget. It doesn’t provide whether the phone supports external storage which I hope it does.
4GB isn’t bad but neither is it good enough for many reasons.
With the selfie world, no one loves a dull camera. Neon smartphone gives you a 2 MP Camera. This isn’t nice. No selfies on this gadget for there’s no or even if there’s a front camera it’s no worth to use. Maybe a VGA Camera? Well it’s an Android phone check out.
