Microsoft starts Rebranding All Nokia Stores

Microsoft starts Rebranding All Nokia Stores. Microsoft Corporation plans to rebrand the remaining Nokia stores and car centers globally as “Microsoft Authorized Resellers.” The tech giant purchased Nokia’s devices division for $7 billion last year, and has since been trying to strengthen its presence worldwide.

The other multi-branded stores or general trade will now be known as “Microsoft Mobile Resellers,” which is also part of the rebranding program.

Microsoft has been slowly rebranding the Nokia name, as Nokia Lumia is dubbed as Microsoft Lumia; the Nokia conversation is now named Lumia Conversations.

“Continuing the branding changes announced last fall, Microsoft recently unveiled in Gurgaon, India, the first ever Microsoft Priority Reseller store in the world. In addition, Brazil also rolled out its first Microsoft Authorized Reseller stores and other countries are following suit,” Microsoft stated in a new company blog post on Wednesday, May 13.

The rebranded Nokia retail outlets will offer a wide range of Microsoft products including Surface, Lumia, Office, Xbox, and other items.
