Microsoft announces support for new Lumia devices to run Windows 10 Preview


Microsoft has announced that it has added even more devices to test out the upcoming final Windows 10. The Technical Preview of the upcoming operating system is ready to be tested on even more Lumia devices, which was previously restricted to few handful of Lumia devices.

Microsoft has added the Windows 10 Technical Preview support for:

According to the Redmond giant, earlier the company was having issues with a function called ‘Partitioning Stitching,’ which stalled Microsoft’s move to roll it out on other Lumia devices, however, since the issue appears to be solved, company has released the Technical Preview for a number of Lumia devices.

Microsoft LumiaIt is also clear that once the redmond giant tests on the above mentioned gadgets, it will also provide for the device that are not covered in the tchnical preview by the Redmond Gaint.

The build for this week includes several improvements ranging from search, voice notes, spam filter and much more.

Microsoft Windows 10 is yet to be launched, however, the company is already pushing the limits by offering several exciting features in the Windows operating system. The support of Cortana in desktop PC and unified environment for all of the devices really makes the operating system stand apart. Microsoft is also working on advanced security mechanisms by adding a support for the retina scan, which makes it very hard to bypass for an unauthorized individual. The industry grade security mechanisms are coming to the home and office desktop PCs. There can’t be anything secure than that for now.
