HTC J Butterfly now official in Japan

HTC J Butterfly now official in Japan. A phone that comes with 20MP duo.

HTC J Butterfly combines features from both the HTC One M9 and the One M9+, HTC J Butterfly is certainly the most potent powerhouse of a smartphone the company has ever come up with.

The handset will be exclusively sold by one of Japan’s major carriers.  For starters, it’s does not come with a metal unibody, but a plastic one.

Nevertheless, it comes with a feature that very few HTC phones have: it’s a handset that is both dust- and water-proof.

From the HTC One M9, the J Butterfly has inherited the octa-core Snapdragon 810 chip and the 3GB of RAM, whereas the One M9+ has “donated” its 5.2-inch, Quad HD display that commands a pixel density of 565ppi and its 20MP rear, Duo camera setup to the specs sheet of the new device. Interestingly enough, we also have a large 13MP front-facing camera, just like the HTC Desire Eye.

HTC J Butterfly is also endowed with a microSD card slot, 32GB of native storage, a 2,700mAh battery at the back, and Android 5.0 Lollipop right out of the box, with HTC’s Sense 7 UI running atop. The phone supports LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, and NFC.
